From loss to lucha.
Lucharitos is luchador themed because the luchador represents heart, resilience, and fighting spirit - values that mean everything to us. The mask symbolizes strength, pride, and showing up even when the fight isn’t easy. Our name comes from "little figher", inspired by our son and the battles our family faced early on. (Our first born is now as healthy as they come, blessed). Building this restaurant took grit, belief, and a refusal to quit - just like stepping into the ring. We started in a 700sqft space after Superstorm Sandy took out our family bakery, and grew to multiple Tex Mex locations across Long Island. It wasn't easy and still isn't. We keep fighting!

The name means “little fighter,” inspired by our son and a time in our lives when grit and resilience mattered most.
We started small, hands-on, and personal - doing everything ourselves and pouring purpose into every detail.

We grew by staying true to who we are - fresh incredients, strong culture, and deep community roots.
