We were staying with a friend in Southold during the snowstorm and desperately trying to find anything open… and somehow stumbled into Lucharitos Greenport. Honestly? Best accidental discovery ever. Matt, the bartender (who also happens to be the General Manager), was insanely warm and welcoming. Exactly what we ... needed, walking in frozen and hungry. He made some of the best margaritas I’ve had in a long time, and there was something about the salt on the rim that was next-level. It had this subtle sweetness to it that made the whole drink pop. I’m still thinking about it. We grabbed a few tacos and they were perfect, but the real game-changer was Matt’s recommendation to try the Lucha Crunch shells.
